Dividend Pro is our own app that allows users to track their dividend income stream from exchanges across the US, Canada and the UK. Dividends pay out monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, annually etc., so dividend income is usually irregular. The app provides reports to view your dividend cash flow, as well as your portfolios, stock details and overall performance. Portfolios are stored in the cloud and can be shared across multiple devices or on the web. Dividend Pro has been serving its loyal community of independent investors since 2012.

Technical

Dividend Pro is a native iOS app written in Objective C. The backend server uses Typescript on NestJS, a NodeJS application server, running on a managed Kubernetes cluster. The backend database is MYSQL.

We are currently in the process of rewriting the app as a hybrid web app using Ionic, ReactJS and Typescript. Love Typescript! This will allow the app to run on iOS, Android, desktops and as a progressive web application, sharing code libraries across the app, backend server and admin console.
