Chris Gailey, a senior software manager and developer, has spent a significant part of his career working with the 3-D graphics software firm, Alias Systems Corp. (merged with Wavefront and later acquired by Autodesk in 2006). As an early employee Chris was integral team member on a number of innovative version one products, in particular, Alias' flagship product, the Academy Award winning 3-D character modeling, animation and rendering software, “Maya”. In addition to Maya, Chris also made major contributions to :“Alias Sketch!”, “ImageStudio” and “PortfolioWall”.

From 2004, Chris moved overseas and managed the Alias | Wavefront Indian software development office in Bangalore for 3 years.

Prior to this, he co-founded Crucial Technologies Inc., a company which developed finite element analysis and visualization products for the mechanical engineering market.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
